Albert Charles Wylde Atkinson was my Great Great Grandfather. He was the first manager of Nonpareil Estate, and his youngest brother C.P. (Charles Perceval) Atkinson, was the Assistant Manager.

My Great Great Grandfather’s sister, Lucy Matilda Atkinson, was married to Captain Francis Bayley, the agent of the P&O Company in Galle. I believe that Captain Bayley may have owned Nonpareil Estate at that time.
